Charoit Races and the Circus Maximus
The Circus Maximums was a huge race track with enough room for 200,000 spectators. Romans watched chariot races there with the wealthy sitting on plush cushions close to the track in the shade. Meanwhile, the poor sat on wooden benches in the high stands. All men an women could sit together at Circus Maximums, something they couldn't do at the Colosseum. Plebeians and Patricians were allowed to sit wherever they wanted but didn't always want to sit near each other.
